"Education is the key to unlock the golden door of freedom". George Washington carver.
If you get a good education, you can become anything you dream of. I remember watching a movie with a girl who was struggling in school everyday. The girl did not like asking her teachers for help or going after school for tutoring.Everyday people would pick on her and call her stupid. One day she finally realized that she was in need of serious help and was tired of people calling her stupid, so she started asking her teachers for help and going after school tutoring for extra help. She graduated on her senior year, went to college and became a doctor. People think school is all about making friends and getting into fights, but it's not. School is about learning and getting and education to be successful in life. No matter how hard and understanding school is, always try harder and you will like the outcome later on in life.
First of all, in order to get into a good college, you have to get a high GPA. If your GPA is low, all the good colleges you've dreamed about will go down the drain.Everyone knows a student’s high school GPA makes a big difference when it comes to college admission Keeping your GPA up can be vital to your academic success. Slacking off could lead you on academic probation. Maintaining a high GPA is crucial to those who dream of attending top graduate schools like Harvard Medical school. Yale or Stanford business school. Colleges want to know how well you performed relative to your peers, in terms of both grades and difficulty of coursework. And they want to compare you to all the other college applicants.
When your attending college, the main thing their going to look at is your GPA and if they see that GPA is low, your application is getting thrown in the garbage can.
Secondly, you must have a high SAT score. Your SAT scores tell college admissions staff how you did compared with other students who took the test. At most colleges the SAT is an important part of the college application . If you take SAT multiple times, you will need to pay for the exam each time. When you take the SAT scores aren't released until about 2 and 1/2 week after the exam. Here are some good step-by-step strategies for the PSAT to help you pass the SAT.
- find a quiet area in which you can work for approximately four hours without interruptions.
-take SAT practice test under the same condition as the exam.
- take two minute breaks between sections.
follow these steps and you will have a good chance on passing the SAT.
Also, you must pick a highly ranked college and have an interest in mind that you want to study. There are too many good colleges out there like Princeton University,Cornell University,New York University etc. there are also many things to study in college. It's like picking your own ice cream flavor. Make sure you take interest in something you've been planning to do forever and feel comfortable with. don't pick something that your friends want you to do because it's your life.
last but not least, Navigating college and high school is difficult but with a little effort you can make the right moves. '' you have to go wholeheartedly into anything in order to achieve anything worth having.''
